Bathurst Pool

Bathurst Pool is a large outdoor heated swimming pool located in Lydney, Gloucestershire. It is surrounded by terraces and the pool is open from June until September.

The pool was given as a present to the local people and it was first opened in 1920. Today it is run by a committee and the pool was majorly upgraded at the start of the century. Over recent years it has had a new toilet block, solar panels, a sun deck and more.

Around the pool, there are places to sit in the sun or in the shade. The pool itself is 38 metres in length and its depth ranges from 1m to 1.8m. Changing cubicles are available but they have no lockers so your personal belongings are your responsibility.
