Things to do at Hornsea Freeport review
Beach Cove is a relatively large indoor soft play area with an outdoor playground. Outdoors they have an adventure playground with a zip wire, giant bouncy pillows, a giant sandpit and an electric racing track. It’s certainly somewhere you can pass a good two to three hours, if not more.
Bugtopia is next door to Beach cove. When you visit Bugtopia at Hornsea you have the option of just visiting their tropical rainforest room or you can also book onto one of their regular animal encounter experiences. The tropical rainforest has all sorts of creatures inside and although it’s only small you can spend quite a while seeing what you can find.
We experienced one of their reptile/bug encounters. During our booked in session, we enjoyed an engaging talk about reptiles and creepy crawlies and we were each able to hold a variety of creatures. Other sessions can include parrot training (it’s actually a macaw), civet feeding and incredible inverts. They usually have a trail on to help you find bugs in their ‘rainforest’.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places still require you to pre-book online in advance.
