Beacon Farm Ice Cream Parlour
Beacon Farm Ice Cream Parlour near Whitby in North Yorkshire is not just an ice cream parlour. They also have an on-site tea room, campsite, outdoor play area and a fun adventure trail in the woods. All of their ice creams are made on-site.
What is there to do at Beacon Farm Ice Cream Parlour?
They have around 24 flavours to choose from and 3 sorbets. They use double cream, fresh whole milk and there are no artificial colours or flavours. You can eat inside or outside, we can highly recommend the daily sundae specials. There is also a cosy tea room and an indoor bouncy castle.
Over near the campsite, we found some goats to say hello to. Near here there is an outdoor wooden adventure play area. You can then follow signs to the nature trail. This was lovely and a real surprise. You follow a farm track down into the woods. There are painted rocks to find and put somewhere else along the trail. It took us around 30 minutes as there were lots to play with along the way.
They have sculptures, steps down a hill carved into a tree, a fun camp area with wooden play kitchens and a tent. Plus den building, fairy houses and more.
