Bewdley Museum
Museum Overview
Bewdley Museum is located in the town of Bewdley, Worcestershire. It backs onto the idyllic Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens.
At the museum you can take a look back in time at the town’s history and that of the surrounding area. Visitors can enjoy visual craft demonstrations, audio histories and hands-on activities. There are imaginatively displayed artefacts, tactile displays and a sensory garden with a water feature.
You can even find out what it was like to be locked up in their town jails. On-site there is an air raid shelter where subject to the availability of their volunteers you can be shown around on a guided tour. There is a brass foundry, a Bronze Age gallery, traditional craft displays and more.
