Billingham Forum Ice Arena
Billingham Forum Ice Arena is a modern facility with the North East’s premier ice arena plus a pool, gym, sports hall, squash courts, play barn and a theatre. It is located in Billingham, County Durham.
The ice arena was originally opened in 1967 by Queen Elizabeth II. It was reopened in 2011 after an extensive redevelopment and it now welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and offers a variety of ice sessions to suit all types of skating abilities.
You can hire a penguin or a snowman to help little ones stay on their feet. Skate hire is included with all family tickets. They also offer lessons to help you develop your skills out on the ice. Public skate sessions are 1.5 hours in length. They can even host your child’s birthday party. They host a number of events, throughout the year including avalanche foam parties and full moon UV parties.
