Blacon Adventure Playground

Blacon Adventure Playground is located in Blacon near Chester, Cheshire. It is a well-loved, free playground and city farm. It is known locally as The Venny and has been operating for over 40 years. There is a large adventurous play structure for children aged 8 to 16 years old. This includes a zip wire, a robust fort with platforms and a fun climbing structure. Plus a scramble net, 8ft slide, wobbly bridge and more.

The city farm has an ever-changing variety of livestock and houses animals such as donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens and ducks. Children are invited to get involved with the everyday care and welfare of their animals.

You can also explore their woodland area which has been developed to foster interest in the wide variety of wildlife that can be found in the area. Children are free to play, build dens and create their own trails.
