Things to do at Blair Drummond Safari Park
The safari park is located on 160 acres where you can go on an exciting safari drive-thru and see their giraffes, cheeky monkeys, lions, rhinos, camels and antelope. (soft-top cars are not permitted) They also have over 300 animals, that you can see on foot. Many have raised viewing platforms meaning you can get a great view of the animals. There are free-roaming lemurs in lemur land and a farm area.
Behind huge Jurassic Park gates lies a prehistoric forest for you to explore. It is home to over twenty moving, stomping and screeching life-size dinosaurs. You can even take a boat trip to see the chimps on their own private island. They have a 20-minute flying display with birds of prey that takes place three times a day.
Outdoors there is plenty to play on with a giant fort, a pirate ship, rope swings, a sandpit and a hidden fairyland. You can also take a pedal boat for a spin, fly along their zip line or zoom down their giant Astro-glide slide. There is also a mini-funfair (where a small charge applies).
