Bowland Wild Boar Park

The Bowland Wild Boar Park is located near Chipping in Lancashire. It is a rural wildlife park with animals, you can feed, tractor-trailer rides, play areas, walks and more. You can even rent a camping pod and stay overnight.
Things to do at Bowland Wild Boar Park
The park is situated in the heart of the Forest of Bowland which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are a number of things to do with barrel rides for the kids (pulled by a tractor) at £2 per child. Plus daily tractor-trailer rides are included with your ticket. Kids can even take part in a tank driving experience at £4 per 4 minutes. Children must be 1.4 metres and over some activities are subject to weather conditions and may not be running mid-week.
There is an extensive play area with slides, swings, things to climb on and a zip wire. The park has a wide variety of animals, including various breeds of boar, red deer, wildfowl, alpacas, donkeys, sheep, meerkats and more. They even have some water buffalo! You can hand-feed most of their animals and at certain times of the year, you can help feed the lambs. There are also daily handling sessions.
The park has a number of walks for you to enjoy ranging from 550 metres to 1200 metres. Indoors there are mini tractors to play on plus indoor games and colouring.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

Tickets for adults and children are £7.50 each, under 2s are free and a family ticket is £25.
