Bradford Industrial Museum

Attraction Overview

The Bradford Industrial Museum is located in the Eccleshill area of Bradford, West Yorkshire. It was established in 1974 and the museum specialises in relics of local industry, especially printing and textile machinery. These are kept in working condition for regular demonstrations to the public.

The Moorside Mills the museum is housed in were built around 1875. As well as the industrial machinery they also have motor vehicles on display and steam-powered machinery. You can see where the Mill Manager lived or you can visit the mill worker’s terraced houses which are dressed to reflect the three different time periods.

Machine running times are subject to availability. Please ring before your visit to confirm if this is what you wish to see. They also host a number of events throughout the year including family-friendly activities.
