Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens

Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens

Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens are located in Braintree, Essex. The gardens are kept for the benefit of the general public. The gardens have been in Braintree since 1888 and are today kept and maintained by a registered charity. At the south end of the gardens next to the Coffee house, there is a well-equipped children’s play area. This is open at the same time as the gardens. There are also some hard court tennis courts which cost just £5 an hour to hire.

Also in the gardens, there is a Wildlife Hide where you can watch the wild birds from. There are around 5 acres of formal gardens with plenty of trees dotted around to explore.
