Bramhall Park
Bramhall Park is a beautifully landscaped park of 70 acres located near Stockport, Greater Manchester. With woodland and trails, it is a great location to enjoy a walk.
The park was created by Sir Charles Nevill during the late 1890s. He fashioned a new landscape out of his estate which reflected the garden fashions of the period which were created around Capability Brown’s design. Attractive formal garden areas can be found close to the hall and areas of ancient woodland give the park its character.
The hall itself is a superb example of a Tudor Manor House. Inside the hall offers unique insights into the families and servants who lived and worked there. There are some magnificent 16th-century paintings, Victorian Kitchens, Servants’ Quarters and more. In the park, there are two play areas with a larger adventure playground suitable for under 9s with slides, swings and climbing frames.
