Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway

The Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway are located just south of Sittingbourne in Kent. It is a 2ft narrow gauge railway which has a track of around three-quarters of a mile. It is a private line which has been built up by a group of friends since the 1970s.

Diesel trains run from Warren Wood Station into the Woods at Stony Shaw. No pre-booking is required. On-site there is a large G Scale model railway which runs a selection of LGB locomotives and rolling stock. Other things you can see include a Victorian Yard crane, a Weighbridge, a station bell and more.

They also run a number of special event days including 1940s weekends, classic car events, steam days, Halloween diesel days and more. They also sometimes offer tractor and traction engine rides. After your visit, you can explore the woods and there is also an on-site museum.
