Broadway Cinema and Theatre is located in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The cinema first opened its doors in 1936 and the front of the building still retains its Art Deco design.
The cinema shows a great selection of films from blockbusters to shows and more. It has retained an old-style cinema charm and has bigger comfier seats with a great ambience to make going to the cinema feel more of an occasion. It has undergone extensive refurbishment programmes including developing it into a four-screen facility.
They run baby-friendly film screenings and they also have a kids club with cheaper screenings on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Booking ahead is recommended to avoid disappointment. The venue also has a theatre which hosts a range of different shows and performances.
