Attraction Overview
Butterfly World IOW is a butterfly zoo in Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight. It first opened in 1983 and it includes an indoor sub-tropical garden with free-flying butterflies.
From mid-March until October you can see some of the world’s most beautiful butterflies from around the world, all under one roof. They offer an interactive experience for all ages with butterfly walks, interactive koi fish feeding sessions and minibeast handling.
There is the main tropical zone with the free-flying butterflies and moths, an Italian Renaissance-inspired garden and a Japanese-themed garden where you will find the two large koi ponds. There is a wildlife garden and a discovery zone with amphibians, tortoises and more.
