Cannon Hill Park

Cannon Hill Park

Cannon Hill Park is located in Birmingham and it is the most popular park in the city. It is around 250 acres in size and consists of green spaces, woodland and sports areas.

Things to do at Cannon Hill Park

The park has a range of sports activities including tennis and fishing. You can also cycle and walk around the park. Cannon Hill Park first opened to visitors in 1873 and it is a great place to enjoy a picnic.

Around the park, there is a land train which is a great way to explore. On the lake why not hire one of their swan boat pedalos? In the park, there is the B’ham Wildlife Conservation Park. This is home to reptiles, birds, monkeys and even red pandas. There is a charge to visit.

There are two 18-hole adventure golf courses and the course is also wheelchair accessible so no one gets left out. The golf is part of your fun pass credits (see below). The park has a fun park which is open during the warmer months of the year. There are rides suitable for toddlers, up to the age of 10 and some of them are also suitable for parents. The fun park uses a credit system for all the rides and activities. Credits are £1 each.
