Cardiff Ski and Snowboard Centre
The Cardiff Ski and Snowboard Centre is located a few minutes drive from the centre of Cardiff in South Wales. The centre was built in 1969 by Cardiff City Council and features a dry ski slope.
Whether skiing or snowboarding, new to the sport or you are experienced enough they have the facilities to help you enjoy your time practising on the slope. To be able to use their slop for recreational skiing or snowboarding you need to have had just one previous lesson. You must be confident to use the lift and prices include equipment hire. You can also book lessons to help you gain confidence or start as a novice. They have lessons from the age of 4.
If you are looking for a fun and thrilling family-friendly activity where no previous experience is necessary then you should give tubing a go. They have some massive inflatable rings which you can slide down the slope in. You can be spun, linked together, go backwards etc. It is a fun, safe and addictive experience for all ages.

Is there food and drink available?
The railway shop at Aberystwyth stocks light refreshments and drinks. There is a cafe and a hotel at Devil’s Bridge serving hot and cold food and drinks.

What are the ticket prices?
Tubing £10 per person. Recreational skiing all day adult £15, child £12. private lessons 1 hour £45 per individual, extra people £25 each. There are lots of other sessions that you can book, please see their website for further information.
