Cardinham Woods

Cardinham Woods

Cardinham Woods is maintained by Forestry England and they are located inland in central Cornwall. The woods are the perfect setting to recharge and relax. The diverse woodland is full of secret glades allowing you to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of life into a haven of natural beauty. There are stream-side paths and stunning viewpoints. There is usually a themed trail in the woodland for kids so make sure you check out their website or enquire when you arrive.

There are a number of walking trails from easier routes to longer walks that include steep valley climbs with some fantastic views. In the woodland, there are four way-marked routes with miles of tracks to follow with some accessible paths.

There are also three cycling trails to choose from for cycling and mountain biking. These include the Bodmin beast, the Dialled-in-Dave trail and Hell’s teeth. There is also a play area in the woods.
