The Castleford Museum is located a few minutes walk from the centre of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The museum is on the top floor of the library building. This is the original 1905 Carnegie library.

Inside you can view a unique and special Iron Age chariot. Kids can have fun dressing up in armour and learning about the Romans in Castleford. There are objects from the beginning of Henry Moore’s career as a world-famous artist. The museum runs regular craft sessions and there are changing displays throughout the year.
