Charlestown Beach
Charlestown Beach, St Austell is on the south coast of Cornwall, with stunning views, shingle pebble shores, and easy access to the water.
There are ample parking facilities with a paid car park and public toilets within a short walking distance of the beach, or there is on-street parking further up the hill. Visitors can also access the beach by bus or taxi services available nearby.
Charlestown has plenty of restaurants, pubs, and café options to choose from too, particularly around the harbourside. Charlestown’s quayside has gained recent popularity as a film location for the Poldark series, and its fascinating Shipwreck Treasure museum is a must-see.
