Chiswick House and Gardens
Chiswick House and Gardens are located in Chiswick, London and the property is maintained by English Heritage. It is a Palladian villa and the house was originally designed and built by Richard Boyle, with completion in 1729.
What is there to do at Chiswick House and Gardens?
The gardens were the birthplace of the English landscape movement and are open once again after a major restoration. You can now enjoy the original vistas, repaired statues and garden buildings. There are 65 acres of woodland, lawns and gardens to explore. There is also an under 7’s play area next to the cafe. You can also download a free, audio tour to your phone to help you explore the house and gardens.
The house features some stunning ceilings and beautiful velvet wallpaper in all of the upstairs rooms. There is also a rich collection of Old Masters paintings and a fabulous 19th-century Italian garden. There is a magnificent conservatory that is home to the oldest collection of camellias in the UK. Kids trails are often available, please enquire when you arrive.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

Free for members of English Heritage. An adult ticket costs £11.00 without donation, children 5-17 £5.50. Other pricing options including family tickets are available.
