Christchurch Park

Christchurch Park is located in Ipswich Suffolk. It opened to the public in 1895 and it has a rich and varied history that dates back to the 12th century.
The park extends to over 33 hectares of picturesque grounds and it is situated right in the heart of the town. Facilities include a children’s play area, tennis courts and table tennis table. They host many events and activities throughout the year such as nature walks, arts and crafts, storytelling and more.
Their wildlife and parks teams have created walks around the park. You can enjoy views of the historic mansion, the ponds and fountain and acres of green space. There are four walks which are colour-coded and most take around 1 hour. The perimeter walk takes around half an hour. These walks aim to show you some of the best features of the park. Christchurch Mansion is now a museum and art gallery which is open to the public.
