Clacton Pier is a pleasure pier located in the seaside resort of Clacton-on-sea in Essex. It is home to a number of family-friendly facilities and it is officially the largest pleasure pier in the UK covering 6.5 acres. The pier first opened in 1871 as a landing stage for goods.

The numerous facilities include rides for all ages including Dodgems, a Waltzer, an Aqua Blast Lagoon, roller coasters, a log flume and more. Some of their rides have height restrictions. You can purchase an unlimited wristband or pay as you go.

On the pier, there is also a 110-foot observation wheel from which you can enjoy the best views of the Clacton beaches. There is a soft play centre for toddlers, to 13-year-olds and a separate play area for 0-36 months. Other things to do include an 18-hole adventure golf course, petrol go-karts, an arcade and ten-pin bowling. You can also enjoy sea fishing from the pier. Day fishing permits are available to be purchased for which you will need some ID.

What are the ticket prices?

Prices are available for each attraction, these are listed on the website. You can, however, purchase a wristband to include all the attractions on the pier. This costs £24.99 per person. (Prices are subject to change)
