Clip 'n Climb Ipswich
Located on an Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk is Clip ‘n Climb, with an eye-catching range of climbing walls great for families. No experience is necessary and there are plenty of fun challenges to keep you all healthy and active. The walls are bright and colourful and there is something to suit all abilities with some walls being more challenging than others.
The centre has a staggering 46 challenges of varying design and difficulty, making it the biggest Clip ‘n Climb worldwide. They also have three special attractions the Stairway to Heaven, Leap of Faith and Drop Slide. Sessions last for around an hour and a half and this includes getting your harness fitted plus having a safety briefing about how to use the equipment. (with 30 minutes for the briefing)
All the walls have an auto-billet system that stops you from falling meaning no one needs catching and it’s easy to lower yourself back down to the ground. Supervisors are close at hand at all times. They even have family climb sessions that are suitable for children aged 2 years plus and SEND sessions, please see their website for further information. Their standard sessions are suitable for all climbers aged 4 years plus.
They can even host your child’s birthday party with packages that include climbing, food and drink. Plus the centre has a soft play area. This is available every day and entry wristbands should be purchased in the cafe – you do not have to pre-book their soft play.
