Colby Woodland Garden

Colby Woodland Garden is located near Amroth in Pembrokeshire. It has 8 acres of woodland, wildflowers and walled gardens. The property is owned and run by the National Trust.
The wildflower meadow is a great place for little explorers with its streams and rich pondlife. The woodland trails are lined with seasonal, blooms and the garden itself spans centuries. It was even once a working coalfield. There are hints of its past with capped-off mine shafts and industrial remains dotted around the site.
The rhododendrons do especially well here and are a sight to behold in May. The woodland is teeming with wildlife and if you follow the path through the west wood you will reach the summer house which on a clear day boasts views across Carmarthen Bay.
