Cotswold Country Park and Beach

Cotswold Country Park and Beach are located in Shorncote near Cirencester, Gloucestershire. It is a beach area on freshwater lakes with watersports, walking and an adventure playground.

They are home to the largest inland paddling beach in the UK. On the water, they have a range of activities including pedalos, rowing boats, kayaks, SUP and an Aquaventure inflatable course. They ask that children are 11 years or over for their watersport activities.

On land, they have some pedal karts which are recommended for ages 10 and over. There is a main beach area for swimming and paddling. Plus a Mini Children’s beach lagoon. Next to the beach, you will find the kid’s adventure playground and mini golf.

Is there food and drink available?

There is a cafe serving food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

What are the ticket prices?

Kayaking, swan pedalos, row boats and SUP are all £10 each pp per 30-minute session. Pedal karts are £5 per 20-minute session. Mini golf £3 pp. Daily admission costs £14 off-peak for a car of up to 5 people and £18 peak. Other pricing options are available.

Is there parking?

There is free parking although you do need to pay an entry fee per car please see above.
