Coughton Court
Coughton Court is a National Trust property in Coughton near Alcester, Warwickshire. It is an English Tudor country house and it is a Grade 1 listed building.
What is there to do at Coughton Court?
The main Tudor Gatehouse part of the building dates back to the mid 16th century. It is the oldest part and it is flanked by later wings in the Strawberry Hill Gothic style. You can explore the house today and learn about centuries-old stories. Rooms you can see include the great hall, a panelled dining room and Saloon.
The Throckmorton family created and continues to manage spectacular award-winning gardens at Coughton Court. There is a huge amount of variety in the gardens with areas dedicated to flowers, plus a walled garden and orchard. There is even a bluebell wood that has a stunning covering of bluebells from late April through to early May.
During the school holidays, there are often extra activities for families such as crafts and nature trails. There is no play area as such but there are plenty of opportunities for kids to run around, explore and have fun,

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.
What are the main things to do?
Historic house you can explore plus extensive parkland with regular trails and craft activities for families. There are toilets and a cafe.
What are the ticket prices?
Free for members of the National Trust. An adult standard ticket costs £15 and children are £7.50. Children aged under 5 are free and family tickets can be bought.

Many of their walks are dog friendly, however, dogs are not allowed in the House, Cafe, Garden, Stableyard and toilets.
