Their factory tour allows you to see what goes into turning glass into handcrafted luxury items. You will be able to watch their skilled craftsmen and women at work bringing their designs to life. The blowing room is known as ‘the hot end’ and this is the heart of the factory and one of the areas you will see during the tour.

You will also see the finishing area and learn more about Dartington’s quality control standards. Any rejected items are recycled for re-melting or placed into seconds. As you move through the tour you will find out more about the history of Dartington Crystal from its formation to the present day.

The tours are available on weekdays for most of the year. For up-to-date opening times and dates please visit their website.

Dog friendly?

Dogs are not permitted on the factory tour.

Are they accessible?

The Shop, Cafe and Visitor centre all have disabled access. Unfortunately due to there being stairs within the factory tour, they are unable to offer disabled access on their tours. As we are a working factory this is something that cannot be changed.
