Decoy Country Park

The Decoy Country Park is located near the centre of Newton Abbot in Devon. It has a small lake, a playground with a splash pad, a visitor centre and sports pitches.
What can you do at Decoy Country Park?
A winner of a Green Flag award it is also a designated local nature reserve. You can enjoy water sports activities on the lake via the Devon Windsurf and Canoe centre and the woodland has a trim trail incorporated into it. There is a BMX race track and dirt jumps.
The site was once a clay quarry but today it supports a wealth of wildlife and parts are now a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is a lovely park to enjoy a walk, watch wildlife or feed the ducks. You can enjoy a picnic and the kids will love the play area. There is also a fun splash pad that is open in the warmer months.
