What can you do at Derbyshire Pony Trekking?
They take out smaller groups as it allows the customers to totally relax and enjoy their trek as much as possible. They are said to be the best off-road horse riding in the midlands and are considered to be very safe for beginners with all-year-round trekking on offer.
There are so many different routes that you can ride. Prebooking is essential. They can take out young children and these are led by the reins by people who work at the stables. Their group treks vary in experience and they will book you on a trek suitable for you. If you would like guidance and tuition on a trek you can book a one-to-one instruction service.
On their treks, you will experience some of the most beautiful Derbyshire countryside including Poulter Country Park, Scarcliffe Park Woods and quaint villages. Their longer treks take you to Creswell Crags and Shirebrook Woods. Children can take part from the age of 4 and there is a maximum weight restriction of 13 stone. Day riders will need to bring a picnic.
