Attraction Overview

Dinostar is a museum just a short walk from The Deep in Hull, East Yorkshire. It features interactive dinosaur-related exhibits. It is described as a ‘children’s museum ‘. There are dinosaurs you can see, touch, hear and even smell.

Highlights at the museum include a T-Rex skull, plus bones you can touch. There is an interactive sandbox where you can build a volcano. You can even purchase genuine and replica fossils in their shop. Dinostar is Yorkshire’s only dedicated dinosaur attraction. It is located in the Fruit Market area of the city centre.

You can also pick up quiz sheets and ‘stamp collection’ sheets to make sure your kids are paying attention.

Is there food and drink available?

There is no reference to food or drink. There are, however, places where you can purchase food and drinks in the centre.

What are the main things to do?

A museum dedicated to dinosaurs with things you can touch, hear, smell and see. There is a ground-floor toilet.

Adults £3, children £1.50.

They are open on Saturdays and Sundays for most of the year.
