The Discovery Point and RRS Discovery is a 1901 3-masted ship that is now a museum located in Dundee, Scotland. The RRS Discovery is the world-famous ship that took Scott and Shackleton to Antarctica.

You can follow in the footsteps of Captain Scott and experience what life was like for Captain Scott and his crew. You will uncover the tale of one of the most heroic voyages of exploration ever undertaken. It is a multi-award-winning museum that tells the story of RRS Discovery. The exhibitions are a mix of state-of-the-art audiovisual and computer-based multimedia. Plus there are displays of actual artefacts that belonged to Scott and the brave crew who sailed with him.

There are crew quarters and the Officer’s wardroom to see plus the engine room, cargo hold, mess deck, chart room and more. The experience is brought to life by realistic figures and sound effects. Keep your eye out for the ship’s cat.
