Dover Transport Museum is located in Whitfield, Kent. They are a registered charity and they are the only museum of its kind in Kent.
The museum is home to many forms of vintage transport including old-timey cars, buses and locomotives. They also have vintage shop fronts which display the kind of items that were of a similar era to their vehicles. Also on-site there is a large visitor-operated model railway.
Their two large exhibition halls house recreated street scenes and their transport collection from the past 100 years. There is a vintage garage and cycle shop, memorabilia, a 5″ gauge railway, bygone street cars, channel tunnel memorabilia and more.
