Droitwich Spa Lido

Droitwich Spa Lido is an outdoor swimming pool located in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. It is one of the few remaining inland open-air saltwater swimming pools in the UK.
Droitwich Spa Lido Overview
The main swimming pool is 40 metres in length and there is a fun splash play area with fountains. You can chill out on the sun terrace and all their facilities are fully accessible.
The lido was originally built in the 1930s and after being closed for some time it was reopened after restoration in the summer of 2007. The original 1930s fascia was left intact and the water still uses salt as that is the reason for the existence of Droitwich Spa itself. The pool is open for cold water swims over winter and it is heated in the summer months. It is heated to 23oC.
