Drumpellier Country Park

Drumpellier Country Park

The Drumpellier Country Park is located in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire. It is home to a great range of facilities and is a great family-friendly day out. Around the site, there are different trails across the park that is around 500 acres in size. There are two natural lochs, moorland, woodlands and grasslands. The park was once part of a private estate and became a public park in 1919.

As well as walking paths you can also enjoy cycling at the southern perimeter of the park. The lochs are a haven for wildlife with a variety of birds and mammals. Many of the paths are accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs.

There is an outdoor adventure playground, a visitor centre with a cafe, seasonal fun boat hire with bumper boats and pedalos, picnic sites and a peace garden.
