Duthie Park

Duthie Park

Duthie Park is located in Aberdeen, Scotland. It has some wonderful restored Victorian features such as the Band Stand, fountains and boating pond plus a wonderful winter garden.

The park originally opened in 1883 and it was gifted to the city for the well-being and recreation of Aberdeen inhabitants. The park also has an Astroturf area for ball games plus two play areas, one for young children and another for more adventurous children. This was voted the best play space in Scotland in 2013.

The Winter Garden was added in the 1900s but was severely damaged in 1969, luckily it has since been replaced. It now houses one of the most visited public indoor plant collections in Scotland. The park has a fun orienteering trail for families and you can download a trail guide to help you explore the park’s history, art and attractions.
