Dyfed Shire Horse Farm

Dyfed Shire Horse Farm is located in Eglwyswrw, near Crymych, Pembrokeshire. They are Wales’ only dedicated Shire Horse farm visitor attraction.

At the farm, you can meet their gentle giants at their farm within Pembrokeshire’s coastal National Park. They have been featured on Escape to the Country, Farmers Country Showdown and more. By welcoming visitors to the farm they are able to share some of their passion for these horses. Alongside the horses, they also have a collection of other animals and attractions for you to enjoy.

During the summer they offer small groups the opportunity to book an evening visit. You can help feed the animals, as well as other activities, finishing with supper on the farm. Other animals include donkeys, sheep and llamas. There is an indoor play area with soft play, a giant sandpit (please bring your own bucket and spades), a carousel ride and a skittle alley. Outdoors there are go-karts, coin-operated ride-on bikes (£1 a ride), a climbing frame, swings, trampolines and crazy golf.

They also offer tractor and trailer rides which are available by prior arrangement. They also have a land train ride which takes you around the paddocks and enclosures. Plus a horse and carriage ride from one of their own Shire Horses.
