Dynamic Earth is a state-of-the-art family attraction near Edinburgh, Scotland. It takes visitors through our history from the Big Bang theory up to the modern-day.
It’s a chance to experience the primaeval forces of nature as they shape our planet. You will journey through space and time and even go on a 4Dventure around the world. At the museum, you will embark on an interactive adventure. In their Deep Time Machine, you will witness the big bang first hand, see stars and feel the ground shudder as molten lava flow speeds straight towards you.
The Polar ice caps are brought to within your reach where you have the chance to touch an ‘iceberg’ for yourself. You can see your breath, smell the cold and feel your hands turning numb as you stand beneath the Aurora Borealis. In their yellow submarine, you will explore the wonders of the aquatic world through portholes. Man, the periscope, search for whales and watch a 30-foot wall of waves tell the moving story of the oceans. Their planetarium has 360-degree digital technology and thunderous surround sound.
