Eastbourne Pier
Eastbourne Pier is located on the seafront in Eastbourne, Sussex. It is one of few pleasure piers in the UK and it is one of the finest examples of a Victorian pier. The original pier opened in 1872, it is 300 metres long and is built on stilts.
The pier has a variety of shops, a fish and chip shop, a cafe/bar, Victorian tea rooms and fantastic views and you can enjoy fishing from the pier. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a stroll and there has been a brand new walkway installed since the fire in 2014.
