Eastnor Castle

Eastnor Castle is a 19th-century mock castle located at the foot of the Malvern Hills on the edge of the Cotswolds. It was built in 1820 and is surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum and lake. It is a popular wedding venue which is also open for day visitors.
What is there to do at Eastnor Castle?
A must-do for all visitors is to explore the castle. It is a grade I listed building which is today still inhabited by the descendants of the first owner. You can view the magnificent state rooms including the Great Hall, state dining room, gothic drawing room, Octagon saloon and a number of opulent bedrooms.
The grounds are brimming with natural play for children including trees they can climb. There are also some beautiful lakeside and arboretum walks perfect for families. They will be handed a ‘Fun for children’ booklet on arrival which offers things to spot and challenges to complete. They also run a number of family-friendly annual events.
Other fun things to do include a Junior obstacle course, a Burma bridge tree top walkway and a rope swing route. There is a mini zip wire, a woodland play area, a super slide and an adventure playground. For an additional charge of £3, children can have a go on their Little Land Rovers. Children must be at least 3 years old and a minimum of 104cm, no more than 139.7 cm. This is open on Sundays and throughout the school holidays only.
Also within the grounds, you will find the Knight’s Maze. This is a challenging maze made of yews that were planted in 1994. There is a map for visitors in case they need to find their way out again with those who find the middle being rewarded with a tower.

What are the ticket prices?
Adult castle and grounds ticket costs £14, children aged 3-15 £8, under 3s are free and family tickets are available. A grounds-only ticket is cheaper.

Eastnor Castle is very proud to be a Dogs Welcome tourist attraction and one of the few historic houses where dogs are welcome into its grounds and house.
