If you’re visiting Cornwall, a trip to the Eden Project is a must! Built into an old quarry with a focus on sustainability and education, you can learn about different plants, crops and climates in the world as you walk through the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes.

What is there to do at the Eden Project?

Explore the outdoor gardens and visit The Core, where you can see the incredible ‘Infinity Blue’ sculpture amongst other artistic pieces and exhibitions. During the Summer you can see your favourite musical acts play at the Eden Sessions, with the stage area transforming into an Ice Rink during the Winter months.

Check the calendar when you’re visiting to see if there are any special events, going on – a favourite of mine is the Festival of Light around Christmas time or the World Pasty Championships in March! If you’re an adrenaline junkie, you can try England’s longest & fastest zip-wire, SkyWire, soaring across the whole site at a distance of 660m. Other adventure activities include an aerial trekking course, giant swings and base jumping (all for an extra fee)!

If you’d like to see Eden from above but don’t fancy a safety harness, make sure to do the Rainforest Canopy Walkway in the Rainforest Biome, where you can walk above the trees and learn all about weather and climates. As you leave, make sure to have a proper look around the gift shop. Buy some new plants for your home, some local gins for your friends or have a look at the variety of books and toys for children. A trip to Cornwall isn’t complete without a day spent at the Eden Project – there is nowhere else in the UK quite like it!

Eden Project now has an adventure play area. Nature’s Playground is brimming with imaginative and sensory play. It covers nearly 500m2 and is designed for children aged 2-16. Make sure you pack a towel as there is plenty of water play. The highlight is the nine-metre-tall tree of life play area.

What are the ticket prices?

Once your ticket is purchased you can return as much as you like over the following 12 months.
Adult ticket £28.50, child age 5-16 £15. Under 5s are free. Other pricing options are available.
