Enniskillen Castle Museums

Museum Overview

Enniskillen Castle Museums are located in Enniskillen, County of Fermanagh. The 16th-century castle is now home to the Fermanagh County Museum of the 4th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards and the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.

Your self-guided visit will take in the historic castle buildings, Watergate and the courtyard. In the museums, you will be able to explore diverse histories from a Medieval Stronghold to a Plantation castle and later military barracks.

Major new galleries interpret the county’s rich history as the Kingdom of Lough Erne with its crannogs, castles and early Christian stone sculptures. They also run a changing programme of exhibitions and events, throughout the year.
