Evolution The Hive review
The staff are friendly and helpful and especially great with the kids. This is a great family-friendly restaurant and the food is just as good as the decor. It’s quite dark inside and everything feels alive. There are sounds and wall projections plus every now and then something moves.
The bar is set in a big wooden boat. The theming is set around the HMS Beagle and Charles Darwin’s 1831 exploration of South America. It’s a slightly confusing theme as there are also dinosaurs dotted around the place and we all know there were no dinosaurs in 1831. But who cares, it’s all just a bit of fun.
The menu has burgers, pizzas, meat dishes and salads to choose from. The choices for vegetarians and vegans are quite limited. There is a range of cocktails with and without alcohol and you can even have a glowing cup. The kid’s menu is pretty standard with the normal things you expect. Do be aware that there are loud noises, flashing lights and mist effects.
