Exciting Escapes Croydon

Exciting Escapes is located on High Street in Croydon, Surrey. It is an hour-long adventure with your family and friends where you can work together to escape your room. You play as a team and in 60 minutes you have to find clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges to complete your mission.

If you’re looking for something fun, different and enjoyably challenging then this is for you. No previous experience with escape rooms is necessary as their team will guide you through the game and be on hand to help if you need it.

At the Croydon venue, they have 5 different escape rooms, with 4 more to come soon. You can even ‘pair’ against another team and race together in two rooms to see who will finish first. They also have a fancy dress wardrobe if you feel like completely going with the theming. If you escape in time you even get to receive a winning fridge magnet.

Rooms include A Hidden Past (2 rooms) is set in 1957 during the Cold War. British Intelligence has captured a spy and your task is to investigate their secrets. Change the Record (also 2 rooms so up to 16 can play) is set in 1998 in a seemingly innocent record shop that is actually a front for a spy network determined to destabilise the British Government, You need to upset their plans and get out before the owner returns.

The other room is the Voices we hear, this is scary and is only recommended for people aged 16 and over. The other puzzles are recommended for children around the age of 10 and over although younger children are welcome. They may find some of the puzzles and challenges difficult to understand but the adults are there to help.
