Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower is located by the sea in Gosport, Hampshire. It is situated in the former Royal Navy Armaments Depot at Priddy’s Hard. The museum includes a wide variety of exhibits which range from the 18th century to the present day.
At the award-winning museum, you will be able to uncover the incredible stories of designers, makers and seamen who worked on armaments over the centuries. There are missiles, torpedoes, small arms, cannons, guns and ammunition.
You can immerse yourselves in historic displays as you wander through the original buildings. There are interactive exhibits plus a dress-up challenge for kids. You can dodge mines in an underwater seabed and see what a moving gun deck looks like.

What are the ticket prices?
Entrance just to the museum costs from £24 for an adult and £19 for a child. The more cost-effective option is to purchase a 12-month explorer ticket for a number of attractions in the dockyards. This costs from £34-39 for an adult or £24-29 for a child.
