Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden
Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden are located in South Walsham, Norfolk. There are wildlife and woodland gardens with a private waterway from where they run boat trips from April until October. The site is around 130 acres in size and has an unusual mix of wild and cultivated plantings that together create a rich habitat for wildlife. There are nearly 4 miles of woodland pathways waiting to be explored and you can enjoy some stunning views over their private Broad.
In the warmer months, you can enjoy a boat trip on Primrose their Edwardian-style river cruise boat. Trips along the river take around 50 minutes and along the way, you should be able to spot the historic ruins of St Benet’s Abbey. They also offer shorter boat trips of around 20 minutes. At certain times of the year, they have a fairy trail which includes extra family-friendly activities.
