Fairytale Farm

Fairytale Farm

The Fairytale Farm in Southcombe, Oxfordshire, is the UK’s first visitor attraction that is open to all with disabled children coming first in the design and layout. There are animals, adventure play areas, classic fairytales and more.

What is there to do at Fairytale Farm?

The farm is divided into six main zones. Jack’s Yard. This is an area very much themed on fairytales. There is Jack’s Beanstalk where you can milk Daisy the cow, see Snow White’s garden and a Mouse town. Kids can play in a giant rabbit burrow, there’s a sandpit, a wishing well, Mother Goose’s garden party and Rapunzel’s Kingdom which is an indoor play area.

The enchanted walk area is just that. It is a sensory experience for all the family where you can touch, look, smell and listen as you explore. There are all sorts of fairytale-themed things to see along the way. Kids can get hands-on with water play, musical chimes, a sensory garden and press a button to make fountains dance.

The third area is the Fairy Dell. The fourth area is the Huff and Puff adventure playground. Here you can race rubber ducks, climb and play on their timber structures, play on a giant combine harvester and explore a Storybook castle. There are also animals you can meet including ponies, pigs, donkeys, alpacas, birds and more. You can also see wildlife on the Wilderness Walk.
