Farrington’s Farm is located in Farrington Gurney near Bristol. They have a variety of ‘seasonal’ offerings such as pick your own sunflowers and pick your own pumpkins. There is also a cafe, fish and chip shop, plus indoor and outdoor play areas.
Pick Your Own Pumpkins – PYO Pumpkin Patch
“It’s our favourite time of year and this year we have grown around 100,000 pumpkins, which is more than ever before!! We have lots of different varieties of pumpkins including your classic ‘Cinderella’ orange pumpkins, white ‘Ghost’ pumpkins, ‘Knucklehead’ knobbly pumpkins and lots more. Grab a wheelbarrow and explore our 12-acre Pumpkin Patch! We are open throughout October so there is plenty of time to pick your perfect pumpkin.”.
Cost? Booking is essential. Tickets are £2.50 for each person (under 2 free) this includes entrance to the Pumpkin Patch, displays, entrance to the carving space and parking. PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE A PUMPKIN.

They also have pick your sunflowers, when in season. Plus pick your own sweetcorn (this is not a maize maze).
Other things to do at Farrington’s Cowtastic Park and Playbarn
They have an indoor and outdoor play area. The outdoor play area is next to some picnic benches and is farm-themed. There are also some animals, you can say hello to. Admission is free. There is an indoor soft play which is £7 a child and £2 an adult. It is a large structure made up of three levels.
Cafe and fish and chip shop – There is an on-site cafe which specialises in afternoon tea. They sell home-made food and lunch, snack options are also available. There is also an on-site fish and chip shop.
Dog friendly? Dogs are generally not permitted, only assistance dogs are.
