Feadon Wildlife and Education Centre
The Feadon Wildlife and Education Centre is located in Portreath near Redruth, Cornwall. They are home to many rescued animals and are part of the Gwel an Mor holiday resort, they are also open to day visitors for a variety of activities and experiences.
You can come and meet their resident wildlife and learn more about their amazing animals. They run a great range of activities and the farm also does a lot of conservation work. All of their foxes have been rescued from various unfortunate situations, plus many of their birds of prey and mammals.
Activities recommended for any age include Owls by moonlight where you can see and meet their owls who will swoop around you. You can enjoy a woodland breakfast, wildlife pond dipping and foraging. Plus meet the animals,’ sessions night walks, badger watch and reptile rendezvous.
They also have activities recommended for children aged 8 and over. These include a falconry encounter plus fire and den-building activities. Children aged 12 or over can be dropped off at the farm and enjoy one of their activities, they can then be picked up later on once they are finished.
