The Field House Equestrian Centre is located near Howden-le-Wear in County Durham. First established in 2006 it is a BHS Approved riding centre and pony club centre.

They are situated in the midst of the beautiful Wear Valley and they provide the ideal learning environment for any type of rider. They offer highly qualified instruction on well-schooled horses and ponies. All are welcome from the very basics for beginners right through to specialised lessons in dressage, show jumping and cross country for more advanced riders.

Private and shared lessons are available and they also run additional activities for children during the school holidays. All new clients are required to start with a half-hour assessment lesson. Their pony days are very popular and all levels of riders are welcome. Activities can include treasure hunts, games, jumping, picnic rides and end-of-the-week shows.
