Fort Alpacas

Fort Alpacas

Fort Alpacas is located in Tregaron in Ceredigion, mid-Wales. You can take a trek with their amazing alpacas surrounded by the outstanding natural beauty of the Cambrian mountains.

You can get up close and personal with their friendly alpacas. They have lots of activities to choose from to provide the perfect family-friendly day out. Their 32 acres of land boasts its very own Iron Age Fort. From the fort, there are some incredible views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

They offer Alpaca meet and mingles which is a one hour experience where you can hand feed the alpacas and take photos. Or Fort Treks where you will go on a 90-minute trek with their alpacas and out to the Iron Age fort. Alpaca leaders must be at least 12 years old and need to be accompanied by an adult.

You can even book an alpaca picnic. This has a maximum capacity of 6 people and your session lasts for 90 minutes. It includes food, drinks and the company of 2 of their alpacas. If you want to visit but just watch rather than take part in the walking activity you can do so for £10. You can usually meet some of the farm’s other animals.
